Specification, Tendering and Supplier Selection

Plans, solutions, designs and requirements need to be converted into specifications which can be used to approach suppliers in competitive tendering. This is a delicate process that requires a great deal of accuracy. Specify in too much detail and you may restrict suppliers and won’t get the benefit of the different solutions they can propose.

On the other hand, specify in insufficient detail and you then will not be able to compare tenders easily and informed decisions will become unnecessarily complex. The technical aspects of the specification must also be complemented and supported by appropriate commercial terms.

Conflicts between customers and suppliers often have a root cause in unclear specifications, but we have the expertise to ensure that your tender is accurately designed and managed.

We are able to support our clients throughout this entire process.
